CREDIT PRESENTATION

Our professionals specialize in the development of ratings presentations used before all of the major ratings agencies. This service involves the production of a booklet setting forth the pertinent economic and demographic information of the issuer.

 

LEVEL ONE - UPDATE SERVICE

This level of involvement includes the review of the issuer's past ratings and the formation of a written plan to address the rating in the future. This service may include discussion with the rating agency regarding past ratings and solicitation of any suggestion for improvement with emphasis on those areas which are under the control of the issuing jurisdiction. Also included is a review of financial and economic information, which the agency may have as a result of past bond issues, or assistance with information gathering surveys from the agency.

 

LEVEL TWO - POSSIBLE UPGRADE

This level of involvement includes the production of economic, demographic and debt related studies. At this level FSG Corp. works closely with the issuer to insure that the rating agency has updated information concerning all facets of the entity's operations. This may include a Tax Increment Financing Annual Report to allow the entity to represent not only the ongoing operations but also to show any capital improvement both planned and completed. In the case of our school district clients, this also includes addressing the requirements imposed by Standard & Poors for the automatic inclusion into the "AA-" program rating.

 

LEVEL THREE - POSSIBLE UPGRADE AND VISIT

This level of involvement is our most comprehensive scope of ratings related services. In this program, FSG Corp. along with the issuer, will develop a PowerPoint based presentation or a printed presentation book. This will then be presented in person to the rating agency either in Chicago or New York, or with a visit by those rating analysts to see the issuer's operations firsthand, whichever is most appropriate for the transaction.
